The wolf chuckled, "Only when I do not know what sort of threat I face. I fight smart. That is why I have outlived my brothers." He exhaled, "Oh well. Since you refuse my generous offer..." he growled, then barked the five wolves with him lunging for the three.

Lathai came running into the yard, his companions behind him as he howled his own battle cry, darting out with inhuman speed and slicing into one of the wolves sides. He fired a poorly aimed fire/lightening ball at another, growling as he faced them, the whites of his eyes glowing as his scars surfaces. "You have chosen the wrong battle this day, friend." He spat the word like a curse, deadly and vicious, knowing his own wolves were awaiting his call.

Nebun kneels, using his enormous axe as a pike

ooc: I was never given a detailed description of the axe, I am assuming there is a small spike at the top because most axes like thadin's have one.

Eloen dived forward, pushing Arri and Thadin to the ground. She vanished between the two, reappearing, standing, behind the wolf.

Arri let out an 'Oomph!' as she was pushed to the ground, then felt Eloen's hand disappear. She looked up, seeing the elf and sighing softly. "A little warning, Eloen!"

OOC: You're Thadin, not Nebun.

The wolf near Thadin seemed to move out of the way mid-air, biting at him from his side. The creature's unnatural speed far exceeded that of the wolf he had fought previously.

One of the wolves turned his attention to Lathai, growling before lunging at him, teeth bared, ready to bite into him.

The wolf by Arri barreled at her headlong, attempting to tackle her.

One of the wolves turned his attention to Skalanis, biting at his ankles.

The fifth wolf darted for Eloen, swiping at her with it's claws.

As Aelwynn approached the field, the largest wolf turned it's attention to her. Something in it's eyes flickered. Like recognition. He jumped for her at lightning speed, barreling into her chest. She made no attempt to block him, arms outstretched as he hit her with full force. All 800lbs of him fell backwards. He growled at her, "You die this night, holy one."

Ooc: woops. So many threads!

Ic: Thadin comes up from his kneeling position and swings the blade towards the beasts neck. He grips the top of the shaft near the head of the axe for maximum force.

The blade made contact with the beast's neck, burning it's flesh and cutting into him, but not enough to stop him. It bit down into Thadin's arm, hissing back a howl.

He growled, letting out a strangled his as he phased through the beast, solidifying his hand just enough to tear through the inner organs of the wolf's ribcage. With a grunt, he fell to one knee, werewolf blood covering his arm. Yet his eyes and body still burned, the markings seeming far less disastrous to his own body than normal. "Is that all you have?" His voice was still a growl, yet more commanding, less feral. He was protective, alert, acknowledging each opponent and prepared to step in when needed.

The wolf fell, dead, it's insides torn to shreds. Four more approached the party, three watching on as one stepped up to take on Lathai.

Aelwynn knocked the wolf off of her chest with the blade of her sword, the force cracking it's jaw, and the silver blessed blade blistering it's skin. It growled, biting at her arm, stopped by the silver that blistered it's mouth. She threw it off, getting to her feet.

The wolf on Skalanis yelped, jumping back, rolling on the ground to try and put out the flames.

Eloen vanished, her sword reappearing to stab at the wolf after her through its shadow. Arri rolled to her feet, fixing her swords in front of her to catch the charging wolf.

Ooc: I'm vaguely considering taking back what I said. This is fun.

Ic: He grinned, wolfish and deadly, every tooth bared, his canines sharper than any other elves'. "Let us dance then, shall we?" The Dread Wolf smirked, rising to his feet and circling the wolf like the predator he was, blade lighting up with the magic of his body as his free hand began to crackle with lightening.

Thadin is beginning to enter a blood rage, shaking violently and growling. Grips his axe and shoves the point of his axe toward the beasts eye whilst it mauls his arm.

Ooc: I did some research and found out that the celts really did have blood rage. Using special techniques passed down from father to son, some celts could concentrate hard enough to make the brain send messages to the rest of the body, this caused massive amounts of adrenaline and other chemicals to shoot throughout the body. The effects were extreme violence, anger, strength, reaction time, pain tolerance, and bravery. Most of these celts were regarded by there own people as barbaric and wild. They wore nothing but animal skins usually.

Seeing all the wolves around them he slowly closed his eyes, making vines slowly come from the ground. The vines began to entangle the wolves and squeeze them tightly, squeezing the air from their lungs.

The blade dug into the wolf's skin, but it closed up as soon as the blade left. As it was not silver or blessed, it had no effect. It turned at bit at her once more.

The wolf in front of Arri impaled itself on her blade, dead. It weighed almost 500lbs, though, and collapsed on top of her.

The wolf circled Lathai, teeth bared. He seemed to relish the challenge.

The wolf seemed shock, the expression permanently frozen on it's head as it was severed rolling to the ground.

All the wolves fell victim to Skalanis's spell, finding it hard to move.

Eloen vanished again, reappearing a few feet away from the wolf, scowling a bit.

Arri groaned softly, trapped beneath the wolf. She struggled, trying to lift the body off of herself.

Ooc: THIS IS THE MOST AMUSING BATTLE EVER.

Lathai smirked wide as his friend's spell froze the wolf in place. He leapt into the air, coming down in its back and driving his blade just slightly to the left of its spine, hoping to pierce its hard and preparing to do more if he had to.

The wolf in front of Eloen bared it's teeth, growling, trying to jump at her, but stopped by the vines.

Despite it's weight, the wolf rolled easily. The next of the wolves watching on approached her, walking ready to pounce.

The wolf howled in pain, collapsing beneath the vines.

Aelwynn glared down the wolf. It almost smiled, "I haven't fought like this in years. You are a worthy opponent."

She glared, "You die this day for your crimes." She stepped forward, her blade acting as an extension of her arm in an elegant dance of death. Her blade glowed in her hand, and she fought the wolf back against a wall.

Arri pulled her swords off, cursing as she saw the wolfs-bane paste having been thinned by being the wolf's blood. She held her swords between herself and the wolf, preparing for its pounce.

Eloen flourished her sword, smirking a bit. "Come, let us battle."

Lathai laughed, letting out a victorious howl before leaping away and entering the center of the fray. He seemed to be honestly enjoying himself as he looked around, mentally counting off each of the wolves present. Four were dead, five were still stopped in their tracks, which left five more free. He looked over at the human woman, eyes narrowed, wondering if she could handle her second threat. Mentally, he tallied it off, knowing that four more still lurked on the sidelines.
