Mirage leaned against the wall "we've both got ambitions, ambitions we can't achieve alone"

"Speak for yourself lad. I can achieve my goals."he says taking a deep drink

"I think you know what I'm getting at, I could use a bit of help, and I was hoping you could provide said help"

" very well. All I seek is adventure anyways." He says taking another swallow

"I'm glad we have an understanding, cheers" he clinked his glass with Thadins

Ooc: he calls him lad but mirage is older

Ooc: I know, Thadin just says that to people, not sure why....
Thadin swallows the rest in one gulp " cheers!"

"We should find a place to stay tonight, we begin our journey tomorrow"

"We are in an inn, and your asking about where we can stay?"

"Good point." He put the remainder of his money in front of the innkeeper "two rooms please"

The innkeeper chuckled, "This is more like two rooms for a week! Keep the change, ser. I'll get your rooms."

"Damn, how much coin did the man have?" Mirage Said taking a drink

Mirage went to his room. He laid in bed daydreaming for a few minutes until he fell asleep and awoke late the next morning.

The innkeeper was fixing breakfast for a few of the patrons. Eggs and slivers of meat.

Mirage took his armor from the trunk and put it on. He went to go wake up thadin after having breakfast

Thadin had already awoken and was feasting hungrily with his bare hands on a platter of meat.

"After this we stop at the blacksmith. Then we're off" said mirage as he sat across from thadin

"My thoughts exactly. Let us check up on him then." He says finishing the last morsel and getting up.

The blacksmith appeared not to have moved since the previous night, happily clanging away as he worked on a large battleaxe.

Thadin stares in amazement " it's like he's possessed..."he walks up and taps his shoulder

The blacksmith jumped and brandished his hammer at Thadin as though he were expecting him to attack him, "Aye! Oh, sorry, ser. 'Ot can aye 'elp ya wif?"

Thadin is relieved to see the man can hear him this time "I find myself in need of a weapon! What sort of axes do you have?"

OOC: Connor, the NPCs are for the admins to play, not the users. I stated that in the rules.

"Axes? Oh, I got 'em a plenty!" He looked to Mirage, "You're the bloke who ordered a sword, eh? It's a lov-ally piece, if I do say so m'self. 'Ere you are. You payed yesterday." The sword was made of a very fine, strong steel, and the appearance matched his specifications exactly.

Thadin decides he likes this blacksmith, he seemed a nice enough sort. "As you can see I can handle a larger sort of weapon, so I would like something that I can chop a man in half with!" He laughs " if I'm getting a weapon I want a good one!"

The blacksmith laughed, "As much as I like your vigor, I doubt you have the coin for such a weapon!"
