Echoes of a Memory (Mature)

He nodded, though he reached and kissed the top of his messed up hair. "It would be best. I do intend on telling you." He added the second sentence without question, knowing that his son would doubt it otherwise.

Raden nodded, "I'll hold you to that..." he muttered, leading his father to the bed before setting his hand on it and leaving their room.

He smirked. "I expect nothing less." As the door shut, he nestled in alongside his wife, sliding her hair off her neck, fingers lingering just above her skin as he leaned in to kiss her cheek.

Aelwynn stirred slightly beneath his touch, rolling over to face him. Her eyes fluttered as she woke enough to nestle close to him. "You're warm..." She muttered, hugging him close.

He chuckled, pulling her body against him, holding her in a loving embrace. "Besides tired, how are you?"

"Cold." She grumbled under her breath before looking up at him, incredulous, "You smell like wine."

He offered her an embarrassed smile that turned out looking more like a smirk. "It's been a long day."

Aelwynn exhaled, far too tired to be upset with him, "It certainly has been..." She agreed.

He smiled, nuzzling her face, his fingers tracing down the full length of her spine. "Amine mael lle."

Aelwynn smiled, the feel of his fingers tracing along her back was soothing, "Amin mael lle."

Lathai nuzzled her sweetly, the scent of wine still fresh on his breath but his body coordinated and in enough of his control that he did not become a complete and total mess. "I apologize for my behavior."

Aelwynn chuckled, "I know you well enough to know your reactions to things, a'melamin." she nuzzled close to him, "You have nothing to apologize to me for. Ever."

He blushed slightly, breathing against her ear as they spoke. "I granted you offense by denying you in two ways, one after the other. For that, I..." his mind searched for the words, the grogginess and haze of drunkenness hiding the elegance of his usual speech. "...forgive me?"

Aelwynn hugged him, "Always." she smiled, "But, you have to make it up to me somehow." she winked.

He blushed at her suggestion, hardly functioning enough to give her what she desired and deserved. "I am yours to command as you will, a'maelamin."

Aelwynn took his chin in her hand, tilting his head down to make eye contact with her, "Only if you are willing." she smiled, bringing her lips to his. The wine on his mouth tasted sour to her, but the taste of his lips themselves was familiar to her, and she was willing to power through the wine to taste him.

Carefully, measuring out his every movement to the best of his ability, he slid his arms around her, holding her close to him and speaking actions rather than words. As he returned the kiss, his very being granted her the permission she requested, no hesitation or need for thought in his willingness.

She slid his hands along his back up under his tunic, reaching his shoulders and pulling it off over his arms. She loved the feel of his bare chest against her. The hardness of his muscular physique, and the ripples her touch brought forth under his skin awakened a sense of desire as well as one of comfort and protection. She knew his strength, his heart, and she knew he would defy the gods themselves if he believed it to benefit her in any way.

He trembled slightly beneath her touch, slowly rolling onto his back, pulling her along with him. His kiss was far weaker than normal, but with all the love he always poured out for her, I love you's in each language ever-present on the edge of his lips.

"Lle caelamin quenat idh vilisse." she whispered in his ear, teasing the lobe between her teeth, "Idh lle vera amin."

"Sahtalle amin!" He gasped, arching slightly to meet her body, hands gliding to the fullness of her hips as she teased him.

Aelwynn smirked, "Tampamin." she demanded, twisting one leg around his and using it to pull him over top of her.

His body all but lurched as she flipped them, his hair falling widely about his face as he shakily braced himself on top of her. "Alpolamin." He groaned, looking down at her, body trembling where they touched, running more off of his own hormones than any sense of coherence or consciousness.

Aelwynn smiled, kissing his forehead and releasing him, "It would seem as though you have lost yourself to your drink." she teased, "It can wait, if you wish."

Her looked at her drunkenly, his body still yearning for her touch. "Meramin garlle amin." (I want you to have me.) The words sounded resolute and unyielding despite his current lack of control and focus, his gaze as steady as could be managed as his eyes stared into hers.
