Patrol of the Knight-Commander

Isolde patrolled the city. It was dark in High Phelan, which meant usually the rabble was all that could be found on the streets. She wore her daily armor for the city, and carried a shield and long sword.

Thadin bear-hide walked the city in search of work. Oft times the best paying jobs were found only at night, and he needed something to get him out of the city, he hated the way the walls closed him in "The city is no place for a man of my stature, what glory is there here?" He mutters to himself through his thick beard.

Isolde spotted a thickly bearded man wandering the streets. His size made him appear incredibly formidable, which considering the part of town they were in, did not bode well for his intentions. She approached him, "Sir, state your business at this hour."

Thadin turns to face her (which from her point of view was likely the equivalent of a mountain turning around) he speaks with a voice like stone cracking " I am looking for work gaurdswoman, if it please you. I am in need of coin if you know of a way in which to get it."

Isolde looked the man over. Clearly he was the fighting sort, but not the guard's type. "If coin is what you seek, you might wish to investigate the pub on the corner there." She pointed over her shoulder, "The have a small wrestling tournament. You can get what your average man makes in a week if you win. And they'll feed you for the night."

"PERFECT!" He boomed stomping up to the pub and accidentally breaking one hinge on his way in.

Isolde frowned. This man could easily cause trouble. She ducked in, watching from a distance. Just in case things turned ugly.

As he approached the ring he hits his head on a rafter and curses. " IM FIGHTING NEXT!" He bellows momentarily silencing the area before a cheer springs up around him. Though it is clear from the referee's expression that is not how the rules work, he is not going to question the man.

The referee whistled, "Yer name, ser?"

"Thadin bear hide!" He yells so that people would spread his fame when he won

The referee nodded, "Challenging our reigning champion, Thadin Bear-Hide!" He announced proudly.

Thadin climbs onto the platform and snatches three pints of beer, downing them all at once and shattering them against the wall. "Come on!"

"And our reigning champion, Olga the Manly!" He announced, as a short heavy dwarven woman climbed onto the platform. She had ratty ginger hair, and prickly patchy stubble on her chin. She looked like she had been beaten with many a blunt object in the face, and didn't appear to be any kind of woman at all.

Thadin mistook her for a man and charged knowing how tough male dwarves could be.

Olga ducked and head butted him in between his legs.

His bellow of rage quickly turns to a squeak. He doubles over in pain, but quickly recovers reaching with both hands to grab the dwarf.

OOC: Their heights aren't that drastic of a difference, she would hit. Edit your post.

Olga was far too fat to attempt running away, and simply attempted to bite him. The crowd roared with laughter.

He hisses in pain but does not let go. He tries his very hardest to lift the ugly dwarf into the air above his head. " gods don't let this thing crush me."

The dwarf spat on him before lifting her skirt to pee on him.

He throws the dwarf clear across the pub in disgust " FILTHY LITTLE TROLL!"

She stands, muttering curses under her breath, then waves her bare butt at him before charging back into the ring.

[that thing isn't getting anywhere near me again] he roars and swings his leg in a vicious kick at the repulsive individual.

She hit a wall with a reverberating thud as she flew back from the kick, unconscious.

"Our new champion!" The referee proclaimed.

He raises his fists to the air, shouting his name. Even covered in dwarf urine he was intimidating.
