The wolves trudged into the City, sniffing the area for meat, hungry and knowing how to scout without being told once more. He surfaced by him and Redalia's secret cave, the shore far longer than it ever was before. He stepped forward, towards the cliff that divided the area from the rest of the beach, and listened, unsure.

Aelwynn rode for hours upon hours, not arriving in the city until the sun had almost risen.

By the time she made it there, he had already taken two and a half bags worth of things from his home and was stooped in the graveyard, having stopped there before entering the Chapel. He had yet to leave. He seemed almost like a statue, a guardian watching over the tombstone in front of him, flowers in bloom all around.

Aelwynn exhaled in relief when she saw him, dismounting, and running up the hill, her armor clanging as she ran.

He thought long for what to do next, suddenly he looked up at the sound of the wolves howling. He closed hi eyes understanding the howl and listening intently. "I think it is time we return to the others. I feel something is amiss."

Eloen stood slowly, offering her his hand and smiling mischievously. "Would you like to take the express route?"

He smiled gleefully, "This will be most entertaining, I shall take you up on this offer." He put out his hand and took hers. The thought of traveling through the shadows made him very excited.

She led him to the nearest alleyway, stepping into the shadow cast by the wall, pulling him in after her. He would find himself in an exact replica of the town, yet bleach of all colors. The only sources of light were bright, almost glowing, patches of light. Some of them moved, signifying the shadow of a person or beast. Most, however, were stationary. She looked back to him, and spoke in a serious tone. "Listen carefully. Do not let go of my hand. I've trained to be able to exist here. You could lose yourself in the dark patches, and be swept out to the void."

He began laughing childishly, "This is the most interesting thing I have encountered." He looked every which way staring at everything he could. He smiled gleefully eyes darting wildly.

She smiles at him, slowly leading him through the world. "This is where I'm at home..."

He smiled while still staring around, "I only wish I could be here more often."

She finds his house, stepping inside. The shadows of Arri and Thadin are there, as well as a large one in the hallway that she walks towards. "Here we are..."

Completely intrigued by seeing his house from the shadows he gawked, "Let us wait a little before returning."

Hikaru sat on the porch, seeming anxious, but didn't see the pair.

She nods, holding his hand tightly. "Just remember not to let go..."

He gently squeezed her hand, while reaching out with his other hand. "This is everyday for you?"

She nodded, looking around. "I prefer it here sometimes. Black and white. No grey. You know what's right and what's wrong here..."

He smiled, "Yes you really can." He took a deep breath, "Alright we should return."

She led him over to the wall. "Take a deep breath. The first return is often a little...interesting..." With that word of warning she leaps through, pulling him with her.

Hikaru screamed in surprise, falling backwards, "Where did you come from?!"

Eloen blinked at him. "From...the shadow...on the wall?"

He gasped as he was pulled through, his head spinning with disorientation. Almost falling over he caught himself on Eloen leaning completely.

She holds him, steadying him, still looking over at the dragon-kin.

He exhaled, "Demon magic..." He chuckled, "I mean nothing by it. I have no magical talent of my own. It is impressive what you can do, though! Very impressive."
