Earning some coins

Sunete walked into the town, carrying a bag full of animal meat. Her plain was to sell it for some money and maybe get a job so she can finally obtain some weapons and better clothing to blend in with. Sunete began to walk around the town in search for a market of some kind, not knowing her way around just yet.

The sound of bustling and people chattering could be heard in the distance, towards the castle. The smell of fresh roasted meat drifted through the air, and occasionally the clanging of a blacksmith rang through the din.

Her noise picked up the scent of some meat and followed it to find some kind of meat market. "Found it.." She whispers to herself, walking up to the counter. No one was behind the counter at the moment so she just placed her bag on the table in front of her and waited.

After a few seconds, a rotund, jovial looking dwarf stepped up to the counter. He had big, meaty hands and a thick beard bound up in several braids, "Ello, ma'am. What can I 'elp you wif?"

Sunete opened her sack to reveal two dead rabbits. "I'll like to sell these rabbits for some coins, please." She gave the man a smile, knowing it's best to act nice for now.

The dwarf nodded, "Mind if I take a peek, missus?"

"Not at all." She said, keeping her hands by her sides.

The butcher looked them over, "Nice lookin' game you got 'ere. How'd you catch it? You don't look like the bow and arrow sort."

"I have my ways." Sunete says with a smirk, That halfling is probably missing these rabbits by now...

The dwarf nodded, "Alright, ma'am. I can give you 50 gold for the lot of them."

"You got yourself a deal, sir." She said, nodding her head a bit.

The dwarf took the rabbits behind the counter and set them on a carving stone to be skinned. He fished around for a leather sack and filled it with gold coins, "'Ere you are, ma'am. Pleasure doing business with you."

She took the leather sack and said, "The pleasure was all mine." Sunete then turned around and walked away, planning to come back to the market area tomorrow to sell some more animal meat and maybe buy some weapons.

A gnome sat in a stall, small explosions going off in varying colors in front of him. He had a pair of daggers that he seemed to be experimenting with that had wavy blades and were black as night.

Curious, Sunete walked up to the stall with a smirk and said, "Good morrow." She glanced at the daggers, interested in them a bit.

The gnome jumped, "Oph! You scared me, darlin'." He dropped a bottle that exploded with a pink poof.

"My deepest apologies." She says, forcing herself to smile a at the man kindly. "Pray tell, good sir, how much for the daggers you have hither"

He looked at them, "Oh, these? They're more an experiment than anything. Though..." he looked her over, "You look like you do not fear getting your hands dirty. I could be persuaded to part with them. For a favor."

"Favor? Go on..."

The gnome nodded, and crawled on top of the stall so he could whisper in her ear, "I need someone eliminated. He chased me out of my house and lab! I can't work on any of my projects, and I'm sleeping in the streets. I don't want him jailed. I want him killed!"

"How does this man look like?" She asks, crossing her arms.

He held his hand up, "He's human. About this tall. Brown hair. Blah, boring looking. But he's strong. And wasn't scared of my bombs."

"Where is thou's house and lab? Perchance this man is still thither." She asks, not knowing if she needed some weapons or not to complete this task.

"It's just outside the city. At the bottom of a hill with an oak tree. You can see it from the main gate." he handed her a simple knife, "here, to help you."

She takes the knife and smiles, "Many thanks, good sir." Ready to finish this favor, Sunete bids him a farewell before running over to where he said his house should be. Once she spots his house and lab Sunete climbs up a tree that's a good distance from his house and rests on a branch, waiting to strike at nightfall.
