The man pointed to Arri, "I speak of the girl. You, are infected with werewolf venom." He stated simply.

Arri stirred slightly, groaning and rolling on her side, clutching her stomach.

Thadin is speechless for a moment "you....can get rid of it can't you? Ill not be like that beast! I am a man and I will not have some magic or trickery helping me. I do things by my own effort alone."

Marron held up a hand, "I cannot. But..." He turned to the fire, tossing in some powdered root, and inhaled, looking to the map, pointed at an empty space by Callieach mountain, "You will meet a woman here who can. The same woman can cure your friend. You have a full lunar cycle to get to her." He handed him a bag with some herbs, "Powder this and drink it with water for the pain."

Thadin waves the powder away " a real man takes the pain as it is." He says standing " how far is this mountain?"

He hands it back, "For the girl. Take her with you. It will also slow it down."

Thadin tucks it in his pouch " fine. If we are to prevent this from becoming unstoppable I must go now." He says standing.

He nodded, "Do you know your way out of the forest?"

"Not really..." Thadin admits

The Druid chuckled, "I will show you. Come along."

Arri stirred, groaning softly. "W-Where....are we?"

Thadin looks to arri "do you need assistance getting up?"

Arri shook her head, rising to her feet, though she panted with effort afterward. "I-I'm fine..."

"Alright." Thadin says catching up to the druid

Marron moved gracefully through the forest, and very quickly for someone his age. When they came to the edge, he pointed out to the road, "This road will take you to Callieach Mountain if you follow it that way." he pointed south, "Or High Phelan if you go that way." he pointed north, "To the village where you will meet the healer, it will take you a week to walk. I recommend finding a horse."

Arri used her sheathed swords as walking sticks, quickly falling behind the two.

Thadin huffs "no time to lose then." He sets off down the road.

Arri tried navigating through the woods, but was having trouble, having fallen behind the other two. One of her swords slipped and she slipped, falling to the ground.

Thadin goes back and helps her up. " do you need something to eat?i have dear."

Arri steadied herself on her swords. "If w-we could find some crutches, I would be most grateful...these are a little short, and I don't enjoy using them for this purpose..."

Thadin reaches up into a tree and uses his enormous strength to rip 2 branches off that are vaguely shaped like crutches. "Here" he says impatiently
