Tochigi's Central Market is bustling with goods not found elsewhere in Parthalan. They are the creators and sole owners of gunpowder, and silver is held at the highest value here, much like gold in other parts of the world. They lack most foods, selling chiefly fish and rice. The occasional geisha or escort may be found in this area, though their presence is neither uncommon nor taboo. Their profession is highly regarded in Tochigi and to insult one is a great disgrace on the offender.
The accepted currency is made of a paper blend, and is backed by silver.
